Furoshiki is a traditional art form in which square pieces of cloth are used to wrap and transport a variety of goods from gifts, shopping or Kokedama plants.
Furoshiki has been used for hundreds of years to look after goods and comes from the Japanese word Furo (bath) and Shiki (spread) where officials would use the cloths to look after their belongings in bath houses. In recent years furoshiki has once again become popular due to its environmentally friendly reusability and unique look.
Our Furoshiki cloth comes in two different patterns and can be easily tied in multiple ways to create a host of different containers. Furoshiki is an ecofriendly, eye-catching reusable alternative to plastic bags and we love the way our plants look in them.
Each cloth measures 55cm and comes with a simple wrapping guide
These wrapping cloths can be purchased seperately or with other items. If purchased with one of our plants your Furoshiki wrap will come pre wrapped around the plant.
